Frequently asked questions
Do I need to already speak some Mandarin?+
Yes - this programme is built for professionals who already have conversational Mandarin and want to extend it into the workplace, not for complete beginners. Path A - Structured Foundation is the right starting point if you're newer to using it professionally.
How much does the course cost?+
Course fees range from $1,080 (Path A, online, 18-hour package) to $4,800 (Path C, face-to-face, 48-hour package), depending on your path, lesson mode and package length - see the exact pricing in the Learning Paths section above.
What's the difference between Paths A, B and C?+
Path A follows a standard curriculum for a structured foundation. Path B adds light customisation around your workplace situations. Path C is built entirely around your role, industry and communication goals.
Is training online or face-to-face?+
Both are available - choose whichever fits your schedule, or mix the two.
How long is each package?+
Lessons are structured in 18, 24 or 48-hour packages, depending on how quickly you want to progress.
How customised can the lesson be?+
As much as you need. Path A uses a standard curriculum, Path B adds light customisation, and Path C is built entirely around your role and industry - see "Inside a Realistic Lesson" above for a worked example.
